I had the Privilege of visiting Sparrow Grass Field & Flower Farm this june - Amanda invited me to come by so I could photograph the beautiful peonies in bloom.

After stepping into the fields of peonies I was surrounded by beautiful blossoms, and I couldn’t help but wish for a couples shoot here!

Nestled in the North Okanagan, this family-run flower farm combines natural beauty with thoughtful event spaces, creating a venue that celebrates the romance of every season.

The story Behind the venue..

Sparrow Grass Field & Flower Farm is more than a wedding venue—it's a working flower farm where seasonal blooms create a constantly changing backdrop throughout the year. Family-owned and operated, the venue offers a welcoming atmosphere that makes couples and guests feel instantly at home.

It started off as an older blue barn with an asparagus farm, and piece by piece Amanda and her family have built it up into what it is today: a beautiful floral venue nestled away along countryside roads.

Venue Policies

To preserve the atmosphere of the family farm - Alcohol service is limited to a champagne or wine only toast. Open bars and party style celebrations are not permitted. Music must Conclude by 10pm. Photography must remain inside regulated areas to preserve the flowers.

Vendor Flexibility

Sparrow Grass Field and Flower can provide the optional add on of mini sugar cone service or Homemade Lemonade drinks (provided and made by her lovely family)

You have complete vendor Flexibility at Sparrow Grass Field & Flower, which gives you the ability to Completely customize your day to your Preferences & Needs.

Accessibility & Parking

The Barn & Field are wheelchair accessible (the outdoors is gravel, but a clear open path for access)

There is a large spacious parking area for guests to park - right in Front of the venue (you won’t miss it!)

The Venue is Easy to find around 20 mins from Salmon arm and 15 mins from armstrong, just follow deep creek road out until you see the venue.

Photography Opportunities

This venue has beautiful rolling mountains surrounding it, as well as a pine forest in the back of the venue that provides Lovely option for bridal portraits.

Of course the flower fields are a great option for bridal party and family photos - followed by the beautiful wood barn.
